Northern Ireland Launch at Sea Holly Gallery

Following the international launch of Apple’s accessibility film in San Diego and its presentation at Academy Live ’26 in Copenhagen, Rory brought the journey home with a special Northern Ireland launch at the Sea Holly Gallery in Belfast. The evening brought together many of the people who had supported him throughout his journey and provided an opportunity to share the film’s message of accessibility, independence and the positive impact technology can have when it is paired with supportive people.

The event was made even more significant by the unveiling of Rory’s portrait, The Apple Doesn’t Fall Far from the Tree, created by Belfast artist Ciaran Gallagher. The portrait is now displayed in the gallery alongside works celebrating other notable people and organisations connected to the city. Rory was grateful to gallery owner Willie Jack for hosting the launch and to everyone who attended, shared their experiences and helped make the evening such a memorable homecoming.
